The Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) strand of the Senior High School Department held their General Assembly and Pinning Ceremony at the Aula Minor, Msgr. Gabriel Bldg.
The program started with an Opening Prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Mr. Gino Cruz, ABM Coordinator, gave the Opening Remarks. The program’s guest speaker was Ms. Victoria Garalde-Orlajo, author of ABM specialized book entitled Entrepreneurship. She tackled the basic economic, business, and enterprise principles. She also discussed various livelihood programs and social entrepreneurship that will benefit the entrepreneur and the customers.
Furthermore, Mr. Gino Cruz gave tips and orientation to the Grade 11 ABM students and encouraged them to pursue their chosen strand. He also presented the newly-elected ABM council. Tim Bernard Louis Santos, President of the ABM council, presented their previous accomplishments last school year through a Powerpoint presentation. He also presented the upcoming activities for the ABM students.
The program became more exciting and fun as students prepared several intermission numbers, roleplays, and skits. Mr. Michael Medina, SHS Assistant Principal, gave the Closing Remarks wherein he reiterated the importance of social entrepreneurship as a service for social good.
