JHS announces Winners for Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019

The Junior High School Department announced the winners for the Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019 at the Aula Minor, Msgr. Gabriel Bldg.
 
For the Grade 7 division, Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019 were Raven Perando and Kaillia Denise Duremdes from Dioceses of San Fernando de La Union and Boac respectively. While, Miguel Ison and Karen Jewel Antonio of the Dioceses of Libmanan and Lucena were the 1st Runners Up. Dalton Santos and Mischia Anika Cuevas of the Dioceses of Gumaca and Cabanatuan were the 2nd Runners Up.
 
For the Grade 8 division, Mr. & Ms. Intramural 2019 were Francis Dungo and Lara Ysabelle Cosare from Dioceses of Laoag and Imus. Josiah de Jesus and Ryza Cyrille Pitogo from Dioceses of Imus and Cubao were the 1st Runners Up. While Kenneth Jeff Escototo and Sheryne Kaae Villegas from Dioceses of Bangued and Antipolo were the 2nd Runners Up.
 
For the Grade 9 division, Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019 were Carlo Concepcion and Stephanie Mia Chua from the Diocess of Catarman and Calbayog respectively. Kiel Angeles and Nadine Gaviola were the 1st Runners Up from the Dioceses of Borongan and SJDA. While, Vince Osila and Lovely Nalica from the Dioceses of Bacolod and Maasin were the 2nd Runners Up.
 
For the Grade 10 division, Mr. & Ms. Intramurals were Elijah Scott Salonga and Natasha Ysabel Abrenio from Dioceses of Ipil and Marbel. While, Chino Renaell Francisco and Raina Leanne Lorenzo from Dioceses of Pagadian and Iligan were the 1st Runners Up. Aaron Antonio and Jessa Mae Benito were the 2nd Runners Up.
 
Special awards were also awarded. Most Photogenic award was given to Prince Jnaryl Dimalanta and Karen Jewel Antonio from Dioceses of Cabanatuan and Lucena for the Grade 7 division, Kenneth Jeff Escototo and Sheryne Kade Villegas from Dioceses of Bangued and Antipolo for the Grade 8 division, Kiel Angeles and Mikyla Ysabel Morado from Dioceses of Dumaguete and San Carlos for the Grade 9 division and Elijah Scott Salonga and Irish Anne Aneles from Dioceses of Ipil and Butuan for the Grade 10 division.
 
Best in Sportswear was awarded to Jan Azrael Cruz and Mischia Anika Cuevas from Dioceses of Daet and Cabanatuan for the Grade 7 division, Francis Dungo and Lara Ysabella Cosare for the Grade 8 division, Vince Osila and Stephanie Mia Chua from Dioceses of Bacolod and Calbayog for the Grade 9 division and Elijah Scott Salonga and Jessa Mae Benito for the Grade 10 division.

College Department holds Tribute to CPA Board Passers

The College Department of PCC held a tribute to its CPA Board Passers with a theme entitled: “Harvesting Dreams: Celebrating a Tradition of Success” at Cor Iesu, Centennial Bldg, Caniogan campus. The two board passers were Jerome Javier and Elizar Vince Cruz. The faculty and staff of College Department and the students from Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) attended the event.

The program started with an Opening Prayer followed by the singing of National Anthem. College Department Dean Mrs. Leonora D. Fernandez gave the Opening Remarks. She discussed the success of the two board passers. Dr. Rolando Robledo, Vice President for Administration & Finance and concurrent JPIA adviser, gave an inspirational message to the students wherein he reiterates PCCians are Persons of Character and Competence that helped Javier and Cruz to pass the board exam. Elizar Vince Cruz shared his tips and advices for the accountancy students to have faith, tenacity and resilience in studying and passing the board exam. In Jerome Javier’s speech, he reminded that the board exam is a test of determination and not their intelligence. They were awarded with Cup of Excellence and Certificate of Recognition. The program ended with a Closing Prayer.

The Junior High School Department held their Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019 at the Aula Minor, Msgr. Gabriel Bldg. The program was attended by the students and teachers of department.

The event started with an Opening Prayer followed by the singing of National Anthem. Mrs. Victoria Landicho, JHS Principal, gave the Opening Remarks in which she praised the students who are enjoying the various departmental activities. She congratulated the contestants for their courage to join the said competition. Then, the presentation of candidates started, followed by their intermission numbers. The candidates shared their talents which impressed the audience. The Crusader Dance Troupe showcased their talent in their intermission number as well as the “Banda sa Kapilya”. It was followed by a Question and Answer portion wherein the candidates shared their insights on environment protection, climate change and bullying.
