The Junior High School Department conducted their Quiz Bee Activity with the DIWA Pasiklaban competition. The event was attended by the faculty and the Junior High School students who were the participants in the contest.
The event started with an opening prayer followed by the singing of National Anthem. Mrs. Victoria Landicho gave the opening remarks wherein she praised the JHS students for their hardwork and determination as well as their patience, tenacity and endurance to learn. She thanked the teachers for supporting their students. Seventeen (17) students each from Grades 7 to Grade 10 competed in the contest vying for the Top Three spots.
After the competition, the judges announced the Top Three contestants who gave their best in answering the questions. Lanz Cruz emerged as Champion from Grade 10 – Diocese of Marbel, Stephen Domdom grabbed the 1st runner up from Grade 10 – Diocese of Marbel, and Juan Anton Olpindo clinched the 2nd runner up from Grade 9 – Diocese of Calbayog.
The Junior High School department concluded their Buwan ng Wika celebration with the “Sayawit” competition. The faculty and the Grade 10 students who were the participants in the contest attended the event.
“Sayawit” started with an Opening Prayer followed by the singing of National Anthem. Eleven (11) Grade 10 sections competed for the contest vying for the “Best Three” spot. After an hour of competition, the judges announced the Best Three sections who gave their best to dance. The Best Three sections were: Grade 10 – Diocese of Pagadian, Grade 10 – Diocese of Marbel, and Grade 10 – Diocese of Kidapawan.
Pasig Catholic College initiated the 1st President’s Charity Golf Classic at Splendido, Laurel, Batangas last August 7, 2019. The event was held for the benefit of PCC’s scholarship and sports programs and its community charity works. The College President Fr. Orlindo F. Ordoña led the said event, together with Dr. Rolando E. Robledo, Vice President for Administration & Finance, Mr. Buddy Encarnado and Mr. Nestor Encarnado.
