The weeklong celebration of PCC’s Founding Anniversary concluded with a concert of Gracenote and Autotelic that the PCC community really enjoyed.
It has been a tradition that the PCC Community commemorates its week-long founding anniversary celebration with different programs and activities that the Chair, Ms. Cecil D. Antiojo and the committee had prepared. For this year, Ms. Antiojo named each day of the foundation week uniquely, such as:OutREDgious Monday, PURPLEliciousTuesday, Go GREEN Wednesday, BLUES Clues Thursday, and Feel Good Friday.
A series of academic and extra-curricular activities were held simultaneously in various venues during the weeklong celebration.
The Founding Anniversary celebrations begin with Eucharistic Celebrations as thanksgiving for the past years. For the first day, the mass was followed by the opening of rides and games from perya and extra-curricular activities that showcased the talents of PCCians. For the rest of the week, the celebration featured the traditional Ground Demonstration, the exciting Battle of the Bands, and the fantastic Singing and Dance Contest. The committee did not only prepare extra-curricular activities, as mentioned earlier, but also academic activities such as Quiz Bee, Exhibits, and Open House.
The founding anniversary concluded with the Grand Alumni Homecoming with a theme: “Looking Back, Thinking Forward” hosted by Batang Kumbento ’95.
