The Belgian CICM missionaries built a Catholic school to teach children the love of God while passing on the cultural heritage and tradition of the centuries. Rev. Fr. De Brouwer himself founded Pasig Catholic School, now known as Pasig Catholic College, known as “Escuela Catolica” in the 1900’s. Academic Scholarship provides scholarship grant to intellectually deserving students desirous of quality Catholic Education. The grant includes 100% tuition fee discount for First Honor students and 50% tuition fee discount for Second Honor students for Basic Education students. For college student, the grant includes full tuition and miscellaneous fees plus allowance for valedictorian and salutatorian High School graduates, as well as the students receiving honorable mention. Must be men and women of moral integrity and must not be subjected to any disciplinary case.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 BASIC EDUCATION

  • An academic scholar must render service to their parish or community for at least 30 hours a year/sem. Services can be rendered in the form of the following: altar server, commentator, reader, choir member, program emcee, or serve in any department of the school – as needed and approved by the department concerned.).
  • Must attend all the school activities.
  • Must exhibit propriety of behavior at any given time.
  • Must serve as role model for other PCC students.

COLLEGE

  • An academic scholar must render service to their parish or community for at least 30 hours/semester. Services can be rendered in the form of the following: altar server, commentator, reader, choir member, program emcee, or serve in any department/unit of the school – as needed and approved by the department concerned.).
  • Must report to the Guidance Office on a regular basis, for monitoring of grades and mentoring.
  • Must take active participation in the Tutorial Program of the Guidance and Counseling Office to render tutorial services to students who have academic difficulty, hence.
  • Must take part in the Promotion of the school programs.
  • Must take active participation in all school activities.
  • Must exhibit propriety of behavior at any given time.
  • Must serve as role model for other PCC students.
  • Must submit an accomplished time sheet (monitoring sheet), duly signed by the supervising parish/office personnel to be submitted to the OSA and a weekly accomplishment report to be submitted to the Guidance and Counseling Office.
  • Any violation of school rules, regulations and/or policies would mean cancellation and non-renewal of scholarship grant.
